Are you about to take a trip on board Onas? Whether you have sailed before or this is your first ship board experience we would like to give you some advice that we think could be useful.

What you do on board depends a lot on the preferences of the group, you can participate in all shipboard activities as much as you like. We will discuss and decide the options depending on the meteorological conditions and the personal preferences of each person, it is important that you take part in decision-making and ask whenever you want to know something. Bear in mind, however, that the final decision about everything related to the safety of the crew or the boat will be made by the skipper.

Onas can be used by full groups or individuals, but in any case sailing on board a boat means sharing a space with a group of people. There are minimum rules for living together and a certain need for order, you will see that it is very easy and mostly just common sense.

Each crew member has a wardrobe, but space on board is limited and so do not bring more things than you need, and do so in a bag or suitcase that is not rigid or semi-rigid to make it easier to store once you have unpacked.

In winter and spring you should bring comfortable, but warm, boots and waterproof gear. In summer don't forget your swimwear, shorts, a hat, sunglasses, sun cream, long trousers and a light sweater as it is often cool at night, a windcheater or waterproof jacket are also a good idea.

We recommend bringing at least two towels, one for salt water and the other for the fresh water in the showers.

Neutral soled shoes and sandals are also very convenient, the deck of the boat is white and the black rubber of some shoes may mark it.

Then power supply on board is 12 V (like a car) bear this in mind if you want to recharge cell phones or cameras.

We provide all the bed linen required for each time of the year, food and drink. Make suggestions or let us know if you have any type of restriction to be taken into account.

Bring your National Identity Card (and passport if we leave the European Union) and a driving license may be useful as we often hire cars for excursions when on land.

Pay attention to the currency of the country if we leave the Euro zone.

When we leave Spain we use a mobile phone of the country where we are, make sure you have one before beginning the trip.

It is important to contact us before boarding to confirm arrival times, flights, the boarding and unboarding place, transfers...

If we sail from Badalona you can use public transport and we will pick you up at the station.
